OBS setup · camera & audio
- Send each guest their own invitation. They check their camera and microphone, then join the waiting room. Press Admit guest here.
- Open the host room in Chrome or Safari to speak with guests. Everyone should wear headphones. If OBS already uses your camera, choose a spare camera or a camera-only OBS Virtual Camera feed.
- In OBS, add one Browser Source per guest. Paste the full source URL and use the width, height, and position shown above. Keep one active source per slot.
- Place the Lezak Weather market overlays above the cameras. Its name bars cover the bottom of each source.
- Enable Control audio via OBS for guest sources. Use Monitor Off on those sources; hear guests through the host room instead. Exclude the host browser audio from desktop/app capture to avoid doubling guest audio. Keep your existing host microphone source. The optional host browser source is video-only.
- Turn off “Shutdown source when not visible” so scene changes do not interrupt guests. These links last for this guest room (up to six hours). New rooms need new OBS URLs.
Joining a room does not start a public stream. Use the existing GO LIVE controls when the show is ready.
Recurring co-host or producer
A reusable invitation to this conversation and a fixed OBS source. Joins automatically while your room is open. Keep these private; revoke them here when access should end.
