Slight risk focus from the Plains to the Southeast.

Jennifer's desk read: large hail and damaging wind are the main severe-weather signals, with the northern Plains becoming the bigger multi-day focus and a low-end tornado signal showing up Tuesday.

Day 1 · Tue Jun 2 Slight

Ozarks/Mid-South and central Plains.

SPC highlights large hail and severe wind across parts of the central Plains, with scattered strong to severe gusts also possible from Arkansas into northern Mississippi. Southwest Kansas into northern Oklahoma remains the late-night wind corridor to watch.

Day 2 · Tue Jun 2 Slight

Northern Plains, with secondary High Plains and Florida/Georgia signals.

Large hail, severe wind gusts, and a potential isolated tornado threat are expected Tuesday afternoon and evening in parts of the northern Plains. Stronger gusts and marginal hail are also possible from the central/southern High Plains into northern and eastern Florida.

Day 3 · Wed Jun 3 Slight

Dakotas into the Red River Valley and northwest Minnesota.

SPC keeps the Wednesday severe focus mainly over the northern Plains, where large hail and severe wind gusts will be possible. Farther south and west, scattered High Plains storms into New Mexico could still produce localized gusts or hail.
